Portrait of my Dog Jr

Now for my Forth piece is a portrait of my dog "Jr". what can I say, for the first time painting a portrait of a animal I think I did amazing and I had a lot of fun painting it the fur on him turned out great but in some areas I did over do it but it still has that very white and black time of fur. The one thing I wish I did a bit better was the collar a bit plain compared to the rest of it. Something I see that improved from my third piece is the eyes the eyes in this piece are very vibrant and have a shine to them unlike the blended eye in my self portrait.

Moon shines over all This is my second piece I have done. On the canvas it is a night setting with a full moon. my idea for this piece came from the time I traveled to Las Vegas I remembered going to the top of the hotel and looking out upon the mountains covering the horizon and on top of that I have gone to Florida and that is were the front of the piece comes from because we parked right in front of a river so I mixed what I saw in Vegas and Florida at the same time. My favorite part of this piece would have to be the river on this one i loved how the reflection turned out. As well the part i did not like about this piece would be the parking lot with the trees it did not have a bunch of detail and turned out flat also the sky in this one did not turn out as well as my first piece. Fifth Painting

Portrait of my cat (Twinkle) For my fifth piece I decided that I was going to make a painting of my cat the reason for this is because I have two pets one is my dog named Jr and since I made one of him I went ahead and made one of her. My favorite part of this piece would have to be the fur at first I did not like the fur mainly for the reason that it did not have the right color for it I try countless times trying to get the color slimier to her light brownish fur. Now for my lease favorite part of this piece is the coloring of the eyes in my mind the eyes look good but it is not like hers her eyes are more of a light green. Paint : Acrylic Canvas Size : 12x16

My First Painting.

Cold Morning This is my first painting i have ever done in my eyes i think i did well since i have never painted anything other then a house white. in the painting its a basic landscape of some trees and a little hill. My favorite part of this piece is the sky mainly it was the most fun to paint and in my eyes looks the best, and the part i do not like is the hill mainly for the reason it looks flat and dose not have much depth as well i wish i spent more time on the know on the trees because they seem too thick and looks weird.
