Portrait of my Dog Jr Now for my Forth piece is a portrait of my dog "Jr". what can I say, for the first time painting a portrait of a animal I think I did amazing and I had a lot of fun painting it the fur on him turned out great but in some areas I did over do it but it still has that very white and black time of fur. The one thing I wish I did a bit better was the collar a bit plain compared to the rest of it. Something I see that improved from my third piece is the eyes the eyes in this piece are very vibrant and have a shine to them unlike the blended eye in my self portrait.  Paint : Acrylic Canvas Size : 12x16

Self portrait   My third painting I wanted to try something different from landscapes so I made a self portrait of myself and to be honest i think it went well for my first portrait. On this piece I really loved how my shirt came out the blending of lighter color to darker just looks very smooth and it surprised me because i can not draw close at all, and for the part i did not like was the coloring of my skin it dose it looks a lot more darker then my skin really looks like.  Paint : Acrylic Canvas Size : 12x16

Moon shines over all This is my second piece I have done. On the canvas it is a night setting with a full moon. my idea for this piece came from the time I traveled to Las Vegas I remembered going to the top of the hotel and looking out upon the mountains covering the horizon and on top of that I have gone to Florida and that is were the front of the piece comes from because we parked right in front of a river so I mixed what I saw in Vegas and Florida at the same time. My favorite part of this piece would have to be the river on this one i loved how the reflection turned out. As well the part i did not like about this piece would be the parking lot with the trees it did not have a bunch of detail and turned out flat also the sky in this one did not turn out as well as my first piece. Cold Morning This is my first painting i have ever done in my eyes i think i did well since i have never painted anything other then a house white. in the painting its a basic landscape of some trees and a little hill. My favorite part of this piece is the sky mainly it was the most fun to paint and in my eyes looks the best, and the part i do not like is the hill mainly for the reason it looks flat and dose not have much depth as well i wish i spent more time on the know on the trees because they seem too thick and looks weird. Since this is my first post I guess you do not know about me to start things off I am a 18 year old male that attends college at Tarrant County College at the moment I am in my second semester, and I am studying for a degree for Computer Science.
